Extreme Cleanliness for Critical Applications
|
Welcome to Clean
Parts Group, a division of Acorn
Industries. Our precision parts
cleaning, testing, and packaging
services meet the exacting standards of
many companies worldwide that require
high levels of cleanliness in certain
applications. Production runs and small
lots are given the same high quality
service and attention. We clean a vast
variety of parts that come in many
different shapes and sizes ranging from
gaskets, filters, O rings and syringes
that are less than a centimeter in
length, to flow sensors, pressure
vessels, and satellite assemblies more
than 10 feet long. |

Our Cleanrooms Ensure
Contamination-Free Manufacturing , Assembly,
Packaging, Cleaning, and Inspection
What is a Clean Room?
A work
area in which the air quality, temperature, and
humidity are highly regulated in order to
protect sensitive equipment from contamination.
Standards for the level of cleanliness of
cleanrooms are determined by the size (such as 0.5
µm) and number of particles in a cubic foot. A
clean room is rated as “Class 10,000" (or ISO
Class 7) where there exists no more than 10,000
particles larger than 0.5
µm in any cubic foot of
air; “Class 1,000” where there exists no more
than 1,000 particles. Clean rooms are important
in the production of silicon chips, hard disk
drives, and other technologies such as
satellites. Healthcare and diagnostic components
are areas of growing use of cleanroom services. ISO 14644-1 cleanroom standards table
Using state-of-the-art cleaning equipment in our
cleanrooms and controlled environments, Clean
Parts Group provides a wide range of cleaning
services: from heavy-duty degreasing to the
removal of microscopic particles and molecular
residues. Our uniquely flexible facility design
allows us to provide cost-effective cleaning
services for such a wide range of cleaning
requirements as well as for both small and large
volumes of parts.
